The Israel Police conducted a raid early yesterday, Thursday, at several locations in Haifa as part of a focused operation against crime instigators and participants in violent conflicts in the city.

The operation involved officers from the Carmel District, led by the deputy district commander, alongside officers from the Haifa station, the Carmel District anti-crime unit, fighters from the Carmel District YASAM (special patrol unit), and personnel from the Border Police tactical brigade.

During the activity, eight suspects were arrested, and searches were carried out at several targets. Authorities seized approximately 100,000 shekels in cash and about 10 luxury watches.

The seized items were transferred to the Hof District asset forfeiture unit for further examination. The suspects were brought in for questioning at the Haifa station and were subsequently released under restrictive conditions.

The police stated that this activity is part of an ongoing effort to combat serious crime and violent conflicts in the region, and that similar operations will continue in the near future.
